Central Scotland Salmon Fishing

Salmon Fishing in Central Scotland

For the purposes of this website, I have defined Central Scotland as the area stretching from the rugged Atlantic coast in the west to the North Sea in the east, from the Great Glen in the north down through the central Scottish Highlands to the Central Belt in the south – to as far south as the Forth and Clyde Canal. This area, in the highland counties of Inverness, Argyll, Aberdeen, Nairn, Moray, Banff, Perthshire, Angus and Stirlingshire, offers some of the finest salmon fly fishing waters in the country, including some of the most famous of all Scottish salmon fishing rivers – Spey, Dee and Tay. In the pages of this site, accessible from the drop-down menus at the top of the page, you will find detailed maps and information on the salmon fishing on the major rivers in this area, including the rivers Spey, Dee, Ness, Findhorn, Deveron, Don, North and South Esk, Tay, Teith, Earn and Loch Lomond to name only a few. Superb salmon fishing on superb salmon rivers.
